HoABL Launches The Ridge, Mashobra — Its First Ultra-Luxury Mountain Residence
Mashobra, Shimla, 17 October 2026 — The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) has launched The Ridge, Mashobra, its first ultra-luxury mountain residence. The project occupies 11.5 acres at roughly 7,000 ft above sea level, set within 950 hectares of deodar forest and looking out across the Gharshi Valley. Shimla is about 30 minutes away by a scenic mountain drive.
The Ridge is a limited collection of 3 and 4 BHK villas rather than a cottage scheme. Three-bedroom villas measure 2,700 to 2,900 sq ft of carpet area and start at Rs 9.5 Cr*. Four-bedroom villas measure 3,500 to 3,700 sq ft of carpet area and are priced from Rs 11.5 Cr onwards*. Possession is expected by December 2028.
What the project includes
The masterplan was developed from the mountain's own topography, positioning homes, roads and open spaces to work with the terrain rather than cut across it, and orienting every residence towards the valleys, forests and surrounding peaks. The clubhouse is planned around a double-height heated indoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a signature restaurant and fireside lounge, a panoramic viewing deck, a grand arrival reception, an indoor sports arena, an advanced tech and wellness suite, a spa and recovery circuit with sauna, jacuzzi and cold plunge, and a kids' gaming arcade. Outdoors, the landscape is laid out as two levels of open rooms, from a yoga deck and fruit orchard to a zen grove and viewing deck.

The partners
Hospitality at The Ridge is run by Everly Hotels & Resorts, which provides villa management, private dining and curated Himalayan experiences, including a dedicated villa manager for each home. Ranvir Bhandari is President, Hospitality.
The longevity and wellness programme is delivered with EVAVO, which brings two decades in recovery and restoration science and whose work is trusted by Ritz-Carlton, Six Senses, Hyatt and Hilton. Four therapies are planned at the estate: cryotherapy, red light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and intermittent hypoxic training.
Engineering was developed in collaboration with IIT Roorkee. Structures are anchored on micropile foundations extending into the mountain's competent rock strata, with slope stabilisation, retaining structures and subsurface water management designed for Himalayan conditions, and the whole masterplan analysed through computational modelling before construction began.
